Thanks to generous funding from the Camas-Washougal Community Chest and support from Washougal Hardware, the Washougal Ivy League is equipped with Ivy and Holly removal tools for use to our volunteers. However, if you prefer to work with your own tools or gloves, please bring them along! The most useful tools for removing ivy are loppers, garden pruners, and limb saws. Please wear appropriate clothing for the conditions and sturdy shoes. Leather gloves are helpful if you plan to work on or near the blackberries.

Make sure to bring lots of water as ivy pulling can be hard work.

Snacks are provided at our events to keep our volunteers motivated!

Cape Horn Ivy Removal with Cape Horn Conservancy

October 10th, 9am-12pm

We are excited to announce a joint event with the Cape Horn Conservancy! There is a lot of ivy to be removed here and we are excited to work in this beautiful location.

Please park in the Salmon Falls/Cape Horn Trail Head Parking lot and walk south UNDER the highway through the tunnel to the work site/meeting point.

Eagle View Park Ivy Pull with Camas Ivy League

November 7th 9am-12pm

Come join us for our first event at Eagle View Park, near Ninebark Apartments on the Washougal Waterfront! The work location is south of the pathway on Port of Camas/Washougal Property. We've received special permission to work in this area.

Parking is at the Washougal Waterfront Park and the Ivy Pull Location will be a short walk along a paved and level path from the parking area.

Lacamas Lake Cleanup

Saturday, September 26th, 8:30am - 12pm

Join us for a joint Lacamas Cleanup event with the Lacamas Watershed Council and Camas Ivy League! The Washougal Ivy League will be stationed at Heritage Park.

Please plan to sign volunteer waivers for City of Camas and Washougal Ivy League upon check in for this event.

Ivy Pull - Sandy Swimming Hole

Sunday, May 17th, 9:00am-12:00pm

There is a bit more Ivy to be pulled at Sandy Swimming Hole, please park in the Sandy Swimming Hole Parking lot and we will walk from there.
