Our goal is to promote and protect the native biodiversity of Washougal parks and green spaces by removing invasive plant species and fostering environmental stewardship through community volunteerism, educational outreach, and partnerships with the City of Washougal, local schools, businesses, and environmental organizations.
Washougal Ivy League is a registered non profit corporation in Washington State and federally recognized 501(c)(3).
We have hosted Ivy removal events in Hathaway Park and Sandy Swimming Hole park over the course of 6 events during 2025. Thanks to our amazing volunteers we've made significant headway in removing these invasive species from our City parks.
We are planning to host atleast six Ivy removal events in 2026 and have published our spring schedule on our events page. We are looking forward to working in new parks and partnering with more great local nonprofits.
We have received grants from the Camas-Washougal Community Chest and used the funds to purchase tools for our volunteers to use.
If your not able to make it to one of our events, be sure to check out the events of these other great SW Washington nonprofits!
